Lenovo has launched a new ultra-portable ThinkPad range, with new housing built entirely from carbon fiber.
Called X1 Carbon, the new laptop has a diagonal of 14 inches and weighing less than a pound and a half, is (for now) the lightest laptop of this size in the world. The technical facilities of the new model include the latest Intel processors, a pair of USB 2.0 and 3.0, Mini DisplayPort connector and a fingerprint reader.
The computer has a thickness of 18 mm and integrates a backlit ThinkPad keyboard, plus a matte display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels
Like the previous generation, the new X1 includes an ultra-fast charging system, which achieves eighty percent (80%) of battery capacity in just 30 minutes. Optional extras include a dock ultraportable USB 3.0 adds an Ethernet network connection and a 3G modem. Full details on Lenovo.com
